People Who Love Me

I recently put together a little picture book for my
2 year old so she could learn the names and faces of her
aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I named it:
I used scrabble letters for the names,
and a white piece of paper for the background
to keep it simple and cohesive.
I spelt out the names of people who love her,
and had a picture of them next to their names.
I considered making a cute Shutterfly book out of it,
they even have padded ones,
but decided on a simple 4x6 photo album from Michael's
so I can add to it as she gets more cousins.
It turned out great, and it's the perfect quiet book
for church.
And she has successfully learned the names of all
of her aunts, uncles, and cousins!
Good thing, because 5 of them are coming
to visit this weekend!

  1. I'm in LOVE with this idea. My little girl is three and has an alphabet placemat and goes over who's name starts with what letter during every meal. This would be another great way to carry this message through and let her see their entire names spelled out! I can't wait to pull out my scrabble this weekend and get to it!

  2. What an awesome idea, how perfect that she grows up knowing exactly who loves her!
